With all of us largely indoors, ballet companies from around the world are finding ways to make sure any ballet or dance enthusiast can get their fix along with many more viewers to join in.

Some of the world's leading international ballet companies are offering free full-length ballet performances available via Youtube or their own websites. Here are some of the innovative dance companies that are using thoughtful marketing techniques to remain in our minds while in isolation.

1. The Paris Opera Ballet Company provides weekly performances of its company's past performances. They have opera performances available for opera fans free online on the same website. Currently, there is the full-length ballet of Cinderella and Giselle Fancy-Free that is worth checking out, along with many more uploaded regularly. 2. The Australian Ballet Company ABC has launched a new At Home with Ballet TV - 2020 Digital Season. This free online service provides full-length performances, with a full list of online ballet performances for April and May. Cinderella is available to view now up until Friday 1st May and will follow by Graeme Murphy's Romeo and Juliet from Friday 1st May to Friday 15th May www.australianballet.com.au/tv

3. Nederland Dans Theatre this dutch contemporary dance company is a must for anyone who loves dance. They have put online some of their past works such as Midnight Raga choreographed by Marco Goecke. This performance is available free to view up until April 24th. The creative dancers have put together a short quarantine inspired contemporary dance performance, by linking together all of the individual dancers solo performances from their lounge rooms. This short performance is definitely worth checking out as a form of inspiration, to get off the couch and move www.ndt.nl/en/corona-update

4. The Bolshoi Ballet Company this ballet company have uploaded their past dance performances onto their own youtube channel. You can tune in for free to watch a variety of traditional and modern ballets along with opera. Currently the ballet Spartacus is up online to view with many more different productions available each week. A list is at the top of the youtube channel in Russian and English. 5. The Royal New Zealand Ballet Company each weekend the RNZB will be posting a new ballet online for everyone young and old to enjoy. Some of the classic ballet works will feature on their website, such as Cinderella this past weekend and an upcoming tribute for ANZAC Day weekend.
