The Air Force Band is known for its regular concert performances in Melbourne Town Hall and representing the Air Force and Defence at ANZAC Day commemorations in Australia and internationally. It promotes and enhances the image and culture of the Air Force through a wide range of music including its 'flagship' ceremonial and concert bands, show bands, chamber ensembles, and drum corps.
The free concert at the Shrine of Remembrance will be delivered by the Royal Australian Air Force Band Jazz Group from RAAF Williams in Laverton. You and your family can enjoy an hour of music from the period and a collection of original compositions written by the group.
