Attend A Night of Hope for the rare opportunity to hear the inspirational story of Grace Arach, former Ugandan child soldier. Sunday 29 May 2016 at 6.30pm (doors open 6pm) is the date and time and the venue is St. Mark's Church, 1 - 3 Church street, Emerald.

There are two other venues hosting this event as well.

Sat 28 May at The Wave, Ocean Grove Baptist Church, Cnr Wellington Rd and Lake Ave, Ocean Grove at 7pm (doors open 6.30pm) and ..
Sun 29 May at Berwick Church of Christ, 446 Centre Rd, Berwick at 10am (doors open 9.30am).

Presented by World Vision, award winning Australian singer/songwriter Levi McGrath will also be performing at this event. Check website for more details.

Touring Victoria and South Australia, you'll hear the story of Grace, who was abducted into the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) at the age of 12. She endured the horrors of war and become a child bride to a leader of the LRA. Finally escaping, she found refuge at a World Vision Child Soldier Rehabilitation Centre in Uganda.

It was 2009 when Levi McGrath met Grace, while he and his wife Megan spent six life-changing months working with former child soldiers in Uganda through World Vision. This had a great impact on Levi's life and influenced his music, and the songs he'll be performing are about his time working at the Child Solder Rehab Centre. Combined with Grace's powerful story, it makes for a great night of true stories about survival and recovery.
