Seeking vegan? Find the perfect partner to love you and your lentils too, at World Vegan Day 2011. Hosted by Abbotsford Convent on Sunday, 6th November 2011, this annual festival celebrates personal health, the environment and ethical living, and promises to be a day of fun and learning for people of all ages.
World Vegan Day is a free entry event and runs from 10am to 5pm, with live music, educational seminars, children's activities and the cherry on top – free vegan speed dating. The dating world is dog eat dog, which is quite an impediment for a vegan seeking same. Luckily, at World Vegan Day, matters of the heart are made easy with this free activity dedicated to helping likely lovers connect.
Those less keen on match-making will have plenty to keep busy with too, as there will be more than one hundred stalls showcasing vegan food, products and services, giving the festival a real marketplace vibe. All sellers are required to use and sell vegan produce and wares only and must be CCF certified.
Following a successful festival in 2010, World Vegan Day 2011 aims to take the celebration and promotion of vegan lifestyle to the next level by creating an event that is bigger and better than ever, providing entertainment and information for vegans, vegetarians, and those who are thinking of making the switch.
