I couldn't resist taking a photo of this sign as I was ambling down South Bank.

The sign was enough to coax my friend in to have a closer look. This cafe has been written about before by others so I wont cover the same ground, but what I wanted to highlight was spending a lunch time listening to the sound of live music. The Saturday that we were there, Shay an acoustic soloist, was playing her guitar. The music was great and even though we had chosen to sit on the veranda her voice was piped out to us, which of course made us want to go inside and listen some more after we had our food.

It's a very pleasant way to wile away a morning or afternoon or perhaps even an evening after a busy working week

Booking - no necessary however there is an online booking service on their website, and pre-order service if you need it for larger groups and don't have too much, might be good for a before dinner meal on the run before the show.
Getting there -
Without a car - short distance from Flinders St Station. Leave that station at the opposite end to the Flinder's Street Clocks and cross Yarra River on the Southbank Footbridge, and turn right.
With a car there is no parking out the front or very close fee parking

Disabled Access Assessment -
Ramp access - good
Disabled toilets - non existent, although the staff member we were talking to (the owner?) told us they are thinking of renovating to include one.
Aisle access/width (1 metre) to allow ease of movement - good.
Proximity to to disabled parking - In front of the Arts Centre which is quite a long way to get to the restaurant.
