Congratulations and thanks to the 1352 people who helped set a new WORLD RECORD!
We need YOU to dress as a cow at the Deja-Moo Country Fair
Two years ago a herd of black and white fibreglass cow sculptures appeared in the streets, parks and businesses in the town of Cowaramup. They were an instant hit with locals and visitors and became the focus of the annual Deja-Moo Festival. Now Cowtown needs your help at this year's festival on 12 July as they attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the "largest gathering of people dressed as cows."
You'll need a cow costume which can be purchased or homemade. The official world record onesies cost from $15 - $25 and are selling fast so pre-purchase is recommended. Those making their own costume need to follow the guidelines carefully to be sure they're eligible. Sign in from 9:00 am at the Deja-Moo Country Fair where pre-ordered onesies can be collected, and get ready for the muster at 11:00 am at the front of the town hall. The steaks are high…so get moo-ving now!
Before and after the Cow Muster there will be plenty of time to celebrate the cow's second birthday at the De-ja Moo Udderly Legend-Dairy Country Fair. Visitors can enjoy market stalls, milking demonstrations, music and other entertainment. There will also be plenty of food and gourmet produce. The country competitions are a highlight of the Fair – try your luck at cow pat lotto or gumboot tossing.
. The Fair takes place from 9:00 to 3:00 at the Cow Hall in the centre of town. Bring the whole family for an "udderly" delightful day.
