FOODIES - World Food Festival for the Whole Family
The seventh annual World of Food Festival will be on again in November, and if you missed out on last year's Festival, make sure you get there this year!

This is again presented by the WA Consular Corps and is supported by Lotterywest where communities from around Perth come together to celebrate food!

It will bring tastes from many countries and different communities together at an event which will be held in the beautiful Government House Gardens.

Once again, and in the spirit of the community event, Government House will be open to the public and they will offer guided tours between 11.30 am and 2.30 pm on the day.

Tours of Government House

Government House and its gardens are a Perth icon, and here is your chance to not only attend an event with food but also to tour Government House and see the exquisite gardens right in the heart of the City of Perth.

Government House is the official residence of the Governor of Western Australia and is situated in the central business district of Perth. The buildings and gardens of Government House are heritage listed and well worth a visit to see the lavish rooms and beautifully manicured gardens.

This food fair gets bigger each year, as more people get to know about it!

The World of Food Festival has now turned into a key cultural Perth event and there will be an abundance of gourmet International food stalls on offer again this year - food from many corners of the globe will be well worth a try!

This year the countries being represented are Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Brazil, China, Colombia, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nepal, Norway, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Sweden, The Netherlands, and Vietnam.

Cultural dancing from last year

The weather should be perfect, as it was last year, on a beautiful day on the lawns of Government House, and what a relaxing way to spend an afternoon with the family!

Also on the day, there will a number of cultural performances throughout the festival, including cultural dances, music and song.
