An activity for the whole family, especially the children, World Oceans Day - Ocean Creatures Alive is a time to get up close and personal with live marine creatures in a fun kids meet-and-touch activity. Discover some fascinating facts about the animals that rely on their habitat that is the marine and shoreline environments, for survival.
Held on Saturday 12 June 2021 from 11.30am to 12.30pm AEST at Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre, 31 Paperbark Drive, Boondall, BOOK HERE for your FREE ticket. Please arrive 10 mins before event start time to check in and confirm your attendance There is a maximum of 5 people per booking and this event is suitable for all ages. Everyone attending needs to book, including infants.
If you cannot attend this event after booking, do cancel your booking via Eventbrite so others may go. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Do note that activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
