Come along to these two model train shows in Melbourne
Model trains and train exhibition can be an all-consuming hobby and can work out as brilliant displays of technical excellence. This article is about two different train shows, both of which will be worth attending.

ABOUT THE MODEL TRAIN SHOW
The 2019 Model Train Show will be on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August 2019 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on Saturday and from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on Sunday. It will be held at Caulfield Racecourse, Station Street, Caulfield. Children under 16 years of age will be FREE entry into the show.



The Victorian Branch of a national non-profit association has more than 1,000 members. It was founded in Melbourne in May 1951 and the Victorian Branch was formed in February 1953.

In September 1971, there was double-storey ex- RSL premises housed at 92 Wills Street, Glen Iris and this was purchased for the Clubrooms in April 1983. The Victorian branch then became an incorporated association in June 1988, and currently has more than 240 members.

Members can park in the car park at Gate 2, Station Street, Caulfield East. It is then a 100 metre walk to the entrance of the exhibition.

If you prefer to catch public transport, catch a train, tram No 3/3a or bus to Caulfield station. From there it is a 10-minute walk to the entrance.

THE AMRA VICTORIA - OPEN DAY 2019
Australian Model Railway Association Victoria Open Day will be held on Sunday 22nd of September 2019 from 10.00 am to 4. 00 pm - entrance is by a gold coin donation on the day. The address is 92-96 Wills Street, Glen Iris.

There will be plenty of free parking as well as being located just a minute's walk from Glen Iris Railway station.

There will be barbecue, snacks and soft drink available!

Perhaps you would even be able to start a brand new hobby at this club!
