Christmas market, festivities, food and fun
The World Food Markets are bringing its Christmas Markets concept to Red Hill with a neighbourhood twilight picnic and Brisbane's Best food trucks, market stalls, live music and a licensed wine bar.
The concept is inspired by a European-style Christmas market with 20 stalls comprising of Christmas cakes/puddings, decorations, trees/wreaths, providore, artisanal local handmade goods and gifts for both adults and kids and local business stalls.
The focus is on local producers, fair trade and handmade products that give back to the community and to make Christmas shopping more meaningful and foster a sense of community. Each venue will transform into a magical Christmas Market Village with Santa, Christmas Carols and spectacular entertainment for the whole family alongside Brisbane's best food trucks.
Festivities begin from 4pm through to 8pm on Sunday 11th December on the historic site of the former Red Hill skate arena.
