Get ready to get your hands dirty at the first ever World Fingerpainting Day at Hyde Park this coming Sunday 18 September.
World Fingerpainting Day
If you don't think you're the arty type and that fingerpainting may be beyond your capabilities, then think again. Everyone is encouraged to let out that creative inner child and get amongst it at World Fingerpainting Day. Whether you're a 9-5 office worker, grandmother, high school teacher, child or garbage man it doesn't matter. All you need are hands and a desire to have a bit of fun.
Created out of a desire to bring art back to the people and remind everyone that creativity is not something that only artists, advertising executives or small children possess, World Fingerpainting Day is set to take over Hyde Park and revive that inner creativity lurking in everyone.
Sydney's Hyde Park withh be transformed into a Fingerpainting Wonderland this Sunday
So here's your chance to be part of a guerilla art movement putting the fun and simplicity back into art. Come on down to Hyde Park and indulge your rebellious side and celebrate your creativity, because we all have it.
