Free Fun Day to Save Our Planet
Environment Day is a timely reminder to lessen are carbon footprints by living more eco-friendly lifestyles. The global festivals run on this day provide contacts and information on how to do just that. Cotton Tree Park is the main venue for the local festival on Sunday June 5th starting at 10am.

The Sunshine Coast University will also have a festival Sunday June 5th from 9am 4pm. Council will be giving out free native trees to be planted. There will be a cooking demonstration and a plethora of information on living sustainably.

Both venues will have many stalls providing information, displays, food and chai along with live entertainment and workshops for all ages. Participate to win a worm farm and be inspired to take effective action to save our planet.
