The World Chef Showcase is one of the key events of the Crave Sydney International Food Festival which will kick off on October 1 at Hilton Sydney and will bring together some of the world's most inspiring chefs to demonstrate their dishes and even allowing you to taste them.

Masterchef personality,Sydney's famous patissier, Adriano Zumbo will take over the Festival this year with an afternoon baking session at the Hilton Sydney on Sunday 2 October.

Die hard fans and professionals alike are invited to watch the pastry prince bring his unimaginable creations alive.

Adriano is no ordinary patissier who is not afraid to use the most astonishing combinations of flavours to create unique pastries, chocolates and macarons. His stunning creations include a collection of macaroons with a combination of contradictory flavours like Coffee Creme Brulee,Fig and Burnt Honey,Salted Butter Popcorn, Chocolate Pop,Lemon and Olive Oil and much more.

His appearances on the television series, MasterChef has brought him much more popularity than before and now has devotees lining up at his shops in Balmain, Manly and Rozelle.

Some of the other well known chefs who will also feature in this event include Sydney's biggest culinary talents - Peter Gilmore, Mark Best, Neil Perry, Martin Benn, Matt Moran, budding chefs stars like Dan Hong , Ben Milgate and Elvis Abrahanowicz as well as Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook of Los Angeles, Magnus Nilsson from Sweden and the biggest names in South America, Alex Atala from Brazil; Francis Mallmann, the best-known celebrity chef in Argentina and a barbecue master; Gaston Acurio from Peru.

On Saturday October1 and Sunday October 2, you can enjoy a series of cooking demonstrations, tasting (the absolutely not to be missed part), talks, book signings and a showcase of all the World Chef Showcase recipes.
