Help care for an Ashgrove green space
Corbie Street park

Residents and park visitors of Corbie and Vaux streets in Ashgrove have been working for 30 years to care for, maintain and improve the Corbie Street park and restore the creek corridor along Enoggera Creek.

Lots of green space

With the support of local businesses, the group has installed habitat and nesting boxes for local wildlife. A range of species have been spotted as park dwellers including squirrel gliders, king parrots and blue faced honey eaters.

Habitat boxes

Why not join in one of the working bees which are held in the last Saturday of the month at 3pm and help care for this local treasure. The group undertake weeding, planting and mulching of the riparian area. Remember to bring hats, gloves and stout shoes.

As well as beautiful flora and fauna, the park also has a cricket pitch, practice net and a half basketball court - great for summer fun and fitness.
