A great family day out

Workers Hubertus Model Boat Club is hosting their annual Model Boat Show this spring!

This exciting event is open to all and showcases a wide range of model warships, commercial vessels, tugs, speed boats and yachts (over 200 models will be on display).

Held on the weekend on 7 and 8 September, the Model Boat Show is set to take over the main auditorium of the Workers Hubertus Clubhouse.

Come along with your family and peruse intricate model ships of all sizes, from 150mm to over 3 metres in length.

Please note that the task force ship formation has had to be cancelled due to low water levels in the lake. The model ships will, however, be on static display.

On Sunday, a number of special Springer tugs will be available for kids (big and little) to play with.

There will also be an opportunity to see a range of beautiful hand-built working ship models from the Club's master modelmakers!

All are welcome to the Model Boat Show. It's a great family day out and you can enjoy delicious Club food on site.

Entry is by gold coin donation for adults, with proceeds donated to Motor Neurone Research. Kids receive FREE entry.

The event will go ahead rain or shine.

Plan your visit today by heading to workersclub.com.au/sporting-clubs/model-boats-club. FREE parking is available onsite.
