[ADVERT]The click of knitting needles, the chatter of young creatives and the bubble of steaming milk, create a welcome buzz at Woolly Latté's knitting boutique and coffee house. Here, local artists come to relax, replenish and weave their magic, while passing coffee aficionados admire not just the mighty fine coffee but the unique showcase of West Australian artists' wares.

"People can meander for a while, sit down and have a coffee, look at the patterns, decide what garment they want to knit, have a knitting lesson and have us on hand to help when they get stuck," says owner, Anthea. "They can flip through the top class alpaca and merino wools and have their coffees kept piping hot in our trademark woolly latté jumpers."
The unique concept of this crafty cafe came to a mother-daughter team – she was crazy about knitting and her daughter was a real foodie – so they wove the two together. Today, it's not just the philosophy of this place that's a hit. The coffee comes from locally sourced Rubra's Jazz Blend Beans and there is also a wide assortment of brioches, muffins, salads and gourmet wraps available.

The wicker baskets and sewing goods on the shelves for sale give it a breezy, homely atmosphere, and the baristas are charming – not a crochety one in sight!
