Hey kids, come and join the fun at this free party
In February 2014, the Woodville Town Hall was seriously damaged by a storm, so it was decided to close this heritage building. Many community groups were inconvenienced for over a year during the closure. Architect reports and building works blew out the budget, and the repairs eventually cost a reported 2 million dollars.

Finally all is now well, and the refurbished roof and painting are completed. To celebrate, the City of Charles Sturt are having a grand re opening celebration, especially for kids. I think it is fantastic that the council is putting children first, and handing over the Town Hall to them for an afternoon of partying on Saturday 28 March.

There will be free children's entertainment at 1pm and the program is as follows:

All free for Kids Afternoon Program:

1.00pm "Fame Train" - This is a family fun show with singing and dancing by young local performers.

1.30pm "Cirkidz" - These are a western suburbs circus skills group only for kids. Enjoy their fun filled performance with circus acts, acrobatics, and break dancing.

2.30pm "Boomstars" - Enjoy this new and exciting pop group for kids.

Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase from the Candy Bar. The event closes at 3.15pm for the children. The adult program begins at 6pm

My Tips: This event is easily accessed by train. Catch the Outer Harbor Line form Adelaide Station and get of at Woodville. This will save you the bother of finding a parking space. Arrive earlier to take your seat as the show starts at 1pm.
