Hey kids, come and join the fun at this free party
In February 2014, the Woodville Town Hall was seriously damaged by a storm, so it was decided to close this heritage building. Many community groups were inconvenienced for over a year during the closure. Architect reports and building works blew out the budget, and the repairs eventually cost a reported 2 million dollars.

Finally all is now well, and the refurbished roof and painting are completed. To celebrate, the City of Charles Sturt are having a grand re opening celebration, especially for kids. I think it is fantastic that the council is putting children first, and handing over the Town Hall to them for an afternoon of partying on Saturday 28 March.
