Woodstock Artisans Market returns to Burwood for a springtime celebration on Sunday, 22 September. Since its debut in November 2018, this exciting new market has grown in popularity and now boasts more than 70 boutique stalls.
Set in the Woodstock Community Centre, a restored heritage-listed 1871 building and its lush parklands, Woodstock Artisans Market provides an oasis of handcrafted treasures and tranquillity for the busy shoppers of Sydney's Inner West.
Conveniently located close to Burwood's bustling town centre, the Woodstock Artisans Market showcases handpicked designers and makers of unique, quality handmade homewares, fashion, art, ceramics, jewellery, curios and much more.
From 10am to 3pm, shoppers can leisurely fossick for special, one-of-a-kind purchases and meet the friendly makers and creators.
Woodstock Community Centre is surrounded by spacious parklands, so after a spot of shopping, take the kids down to the playground. Food traders and coffee will be available on-site, as well as Devonshire tea, so families and shoppers can relax and enjoy fine fare and drinks in between wandering the stalls.
Woodstock was built as a home in 1871 by Edwin Thomas Penfold and changed hands numerous times before being acquired by Burwood Council. Based at 22 Church Street, this stunning site consists of Woodstock Community Centre, spacious Woodstock Park and the newer addition of Fitzroy Hall.
Entry to the Woodstock Artisans Market is free. Disabled parking is available and Disabled access is provided at Woodstock Community Centre.
The venue is approximately 10 minutes' walk from Burwood Train Station.
