This event has grown to be a fun event where Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal artists share their culture and exhibit together. It's incredible and unique because there's a huge amount of community participation and ties with local Aboriginal organisations. The aim of this event has always been to develop Aboriginal women's textiles, promote women's culture and the beanie as a regional art form while promoting handmade textile arts.
