Woodbox Cafe is located in the lovely West Burleigh, just off Tallebudgera Creek Road. As soon as you enter Woodbox Cafe, you realise that it is not an ordinary cafe. Woodbox has a unique quirky homely atmosphere, friendly staff, great healthy menu with dietary requirement options, including dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan.



Make your order and you can choose to sit in the outdoor area or inside. The rooms are quite large with tables and chairs. There are small tables suitable for couples and bigger tables more suitable to accommodate families and groups.









It won't take long before you start to enjoy the whimsical and quaint place. There are shelves with different ornaments and plants. There are books, including a book about Russian film posters.

Enjoy the place and soak up the atmosphere. The chairs and the tables sometimes match and all of them are different and unique, including the armchairs and the sofa. On the walls, there are beautiful paintings from local artists. They are on sale and until someone puts them on the walls in their own home, these paintings certainly make a great impression in Woodbox.



You can order breakfast all day at Woodbox Cafe. Breakfast includes Organic Toast, Organic Raisins Toast, Smoked Bacon & Egg Roll, Eggs Your Way, Bacon & Eggs, Forest Mushrooms, Seasoned Avocado, Eggs Benedict, Pancakes. For lunch, you can choose from Woodbox Nachos, Middle Eastern Chicken Burger, Eye Fillet Steak Sandwich, Sweet Potato & Eggplant Curry and Vegan Burger. Lunch sides include Sweet Potato Fries, Rustic Cut Fries and House Salad.





After hiking the Cream Track, I looked for a cafe to have lunch together. The Woodbox Cafe was a good candidate. The friendly staff welcomed all the group and they were happy to prepare hot drinks and lunches despite an imminent lockdown. All the group enjoyed the food, the friendly staff and the quaint atmosphere.



Woodbox Cafe is family-friendly and pet-friendly. It is fully licensed to accompany your lunch with a glass of wine or a beer. Carparking is available just along Tallebudgera Creek Road.
