Noodles on Centre Rd
Wong's Noodle Bar, 400 Centre Rd, Bentleigh 3204
Wong's Noodle Bar is a great stop on Centre Rd, just off Bentleigh railway station. Alongside noodles, it specialises in fried rice also.
The Bar is one of a number of Asian eateries in Bentleigh - indeed Sushi Factory is directly across from it - yet has carved out a unique spot in locals mind.
With a bright red sign beaming through the night and lengthy opening hours it is a 'culinary guarantor' for locals traveling home - who maybe skipped dinner - and desire for an easy dinner.
This is especially so for the Sunday and Monday late night options. Centre Rd is an outstanding culinary strip in the day, and it is places like Wong's and The Yellow Donkey that very much speed it through the night. With a number of restaurants often closed on Monday, Wong's being open for business is a blessing to those close by and keen on tasty Asian food.
Speaking of, the cusine on offer. There is the familiar favourites like Lemon Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork here. As well as Beef and Black Bean and Honey Chicken. This restaurant knows what it is about in the best sense of the phrase and has no qualms about offering up beloved favourites.
Wong's Noodle Bar. Bright red sign, and tasty food inside.
