A National Reconciliation Week Event
As part of National Reconciliation Week, City of Prospect is presenting a family-friendly theatre production titled 'Wonggayerlo - Footprints In The Sand'.

Set in the 1800s, 'Wonggayerlo' is the story of two men - each from a different culture: Winda - who's always called Australia home and William - a newly arrived British colonial settler.

Winda (Karl Telfer) is the custodian of country and story who encounters William (Michael Mills), a naturalist. Together, they explore our understanding of our relationship with nature from both cultural perspectives.

With performances by Yellaka Dance Company and songs in the language of Winda's and William's cultures (English, Welsh and Kaurna) - 'Wonggayerlo - Footprints In The Sand' will engage, entertain and educate the audience about the differences and similarities of two types of cultures.
