Mega theme park to rival theme parks worldwide
Australia's Wonderland may be a memory of the past, until now. Sydney's Wonderland is set to give our Queensland folk, a run for their money. We are all aware of Sea World, Dreamworld and Movieworld. Sydney is on track to reopen a wonderful memory in our West. Wonderland Sydney is set to be operating within 3 to 5 years time. Yes it does seem like an eternity, but remember you heard it hear, at Weekend Notes first.

With Wet 'n' Wild World taking off in Sydney's west, plans are under-way to bring back a themed park that will certainly make QLD stand up and take notice. The old Australia's Wonderland, will be renamed to Wonderland Sydney.

Wonderland will incorporate a three park rivalry, just like Australia's Wonderland set up, when it was theme park and wildlife world. It will also showcase Wet 'n' Wild, opening up wonderful career opportunities for the West.
Imagine the joy for the residents in our Western suburbs. No longer will they have to travel to the city or QLD to enjoy the squeals of delight with hair raising rides. A local developer from Mount Druitt and Urban Estate Developments is investing huge amounts into this theme park creation.
A Boulevard with variety of cafes, nightlife venues and an open air cinema are all on the proposal. This is going to be the MEGA park of Sydney. Entertainment plus, catering for everyone.
Mr Khan, the director behind this come back for Wonderland, wanted to revisit that awesome feeling of fun and excitement he did when Australia's Wonderland was open. These plans have been on the drawing board since 2009, so its just a matter time. $150 million has been injected into Wonderland and $80 million into the Wildlife park.
Proposed sites are Badgerys Creek or Luddenham. This is a superb opportunity for our friends in the Western Suburbs; they require land of 300 acres, so lookout Queensland, we are definitely going to give your parks a good run for their money!
Personally I can't wait. Australia's Wonderland was a real favourite of mine, and I'm sure Wonderland Sydney, will have all the themes with new and wild rides. The bonus is the added twist is the catering for all budgets with the Boulevard strip.
Stay tuned, as Weekend Notes, is the place, to find out updates of Wonderland Sydney.
