Come along on Friday 26th September and help Redlands IndigiScapes celebrate Save the Koala month at the Wonderful Wildlife Day!

Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day out and learn all about the wonderful Australian Native Wildlife, their habitats and meet a koala and wedge-tailed eagle too!

Wonderful Wildlife Day Activities (between 11am and 1pm):
Meet a Koala from Daisy Hill Koala Centre;
Meet 'Des' the Wedge-tailed Eagle from Oreillys; and
Wildlife presentations by Geckoes.

Displays include:
Koala Action Group;
Bat Conservation and Rescue;
Wildlife Preservation Society of Qld; and
Redlands Wildlife Ambulance.

There will also be:
Oz Wildlife Studio Art classes and colouring in competitions;
Craft Activities;
Story Telling; and
A yummy BBQ available.

Dress up as your favourite animal and take part in the fashion parade at 12.30pm. There will be prizes for the best dressed animal on the day!

Learn all about how Koalas are mainly nocturnal marsupials, how they climb trees with their sharp claws and what kind of eucalyptus leaves they find most tasty.

Find out about the Redlands Koala Colony and what you can do to help keep them safe too.

It's free and fun, so make sure you come along.
