Lana, the environmental scientist is back and brimming with excitement to take you on a wonderful wander through the wetlands at Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary .

The spectacular surrounds at the Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary showcase five different forest types, charismatic cute-as crabs, magnificent mangroves and bedazzling birdlife. Led by Lana, who absolutely loves mangroves, children will be guided and taught on how to identify and illustrate different species of these unusual, sometimes strange-looking mangroves. Lana hopes to create and instil the same love of mangroves into children too.

The Wonderful Wetland Wander forms part of the Environmental Visitor Centres children’s program. For more nature-filled experiences, please check out the Bushland Holiday Program run at the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Gardens online here.
