Buckle up for a winter in the city that’s warm on the inside and frosty on the outside when WONDER comes to Glebe Park in Canberra during the upcoming July school holidays.


See this outdoor environment transformed into a winter wonderland of fun, complete with a real snow field, thrilling toboggan rides and ice skating perfect for beginners and seasoned skaters. Build snow sculptures and make snow angels or have a friendly snow ball fight, capturing and making wonderful memories along the way. This ticketed area has general admission from $20, although children under 5yrs can bring one parent or carer for free.

Warm up with fire pits in the cosy village and toast a marshmallow or two, sip on steaming hot chocolate, enjoy local food (vegan & gluten-free options also available) and unique market stalls in this free entry area.

In the evening, be sure to witness the fiery magic of performances by mesmerising fire dancers lighting up each night at 5.30pm, 6.30pm and 7.30pm. An unforgettable sight awaits.

Right in the heart of Canberra, open daily from 10am-6pm (with extended trading hours on Fridays & Saturdays), snow enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to play, eat, shop and enjoy the offerings. The only exception is in regards to ice skating in which you need to be 2yrs and older to participate (note that those under 2yrs can still do the other snow play activities).
