Take it in as you stroll along
Once again Brisbane City Council is delivering a show which is engaging, strong and female based and the acronym for this interesting initiative is BAM and if you are wondering what this stands for wonder no more - Brisbane Art Matriarchs. Isn't that just a wonderful acronym?

BAM is getting together with Griffith University Queensland College of Art and the Culprit Club to bring to our streets across the city 12 female artists.

Their artwork will be displayed in central locations around the city so where we all work and walk and shop - no excuses for not noticing them and for not stopping and taking it all in.

Fish Lane, King George Square and Edward St are just a few of the venues where the artwork will be on display.

Leading local female artists and designers are taking over the inner-city streetscape for the Women's Work art exhibit in Brisbane City Council's Outdoor Gallery.

A dedicated team of talented Brisbane women created Women's Work. The project showcases the diverse, high-level talent of women artists and designers working in South East Queensland.

As part of the exhibit, you can enjoy public programs and events including guided walks of the Outdoor Gallery and talks with artists and curators.
