Women's Society of Cyberjutsu will be hosting a Cyber Security Workshop for anyone wanting to gain skills in this domain. The team will be covering seven categories within cybersecurity careers, review jobs, and cover different types of technical skills that are needed in each of these areas. Furthermore, the workshop is designed to be hands-on with participants learning a range of different tools used in this the cybersecurity arena.
This event will be held at Secure Ideas Training Center in Jacksonville. Fees are $40.00 for members and $60.00 for non-members and will be held on 25 January 2020 from 10 am to 3 pm. Registration can be done
online.
It is recommended that participants bring a laptop with virtualisation capability and at least 4 GB of RAM, VirtualBox VM player, and Kali Linux. If you don't know what that all means, contact the event organiser who will help you get started.
