The best things in life are made by women
The All Star Women's Comic Book Club are hosting their very first Women In Comics Festival this December! This fantastic festival is for all girls and women out there who love reading comic books, and who may want to dabble in making their own comics.

Across both days, the Women In Comics Festival will have a Creators Market, where women from all around Australia will be selling their comics, zines and crafts - but that's not all there will be!

On Saturday, December 10th, from 11am to 4pm, there will be free sketches from four local creators.

From 1pm to 3pm, there will be a signing with American cartoonist, illustrator and Batgirl writer Hope Larson.

4:30pm to 5:30pm will feature a Q&A session about creating comics with illustrators Hope Larson, Savanna Ganucheau, Georgina Chadderton and Mandy Ord.

On Sunday, December 11th there will be an array of activities to keep you entertained all day including crafts and cosplay, as well as the Creators Market from 11pm to 5pm.

So if you're a die-hard fan of comics, or are only just discovering your love of them, there's no better place to learn all about the ins and outs of comics and how to make them than at the Women In Comics Festival!
