Wollongong isn't just beautiful sandy beaches, it's full of local talent and hidden gems, with some of the local talent to be featured in the 2016 Wollongong Fringe Festival, proudly brought to you by Yours and Owls.

2016 Wollongong Fringe Festival - Brought to you by Yours and Owls.

Wollongong has always been a favourite for holidays with families and different groups for different occasions, now it's time to make Wollongong a favourite for celebrating the arts & cultural scene.

The festival is a full 9 days of experiencing and discovering local talent, as well as 9 days of fun and adventurous entertainment for locals and visitors.

The opening night party will take place in Wollongong's Art Precinct, on Friday the 23rd of September, which will include a halfpipe with skating demos and an art exhibition. A 90's night will also be featured in the festival, including tunes, trivia and a blast from the past with TV hosts Ryan & Jade from Cheese TV. If you are a movie lover, then you will need to check out the outdoor cinema.

The Great Gatsby will be featured at the Outdoor Cinema on September 26th

Also featured in the festival will be live music, art and workshops, food stalls and a licensed bar. There will also be plenty of market stalls available for those market lovers.

This year at the 2016 Wollongong Fringe Festival, there is absolutely, positively, something for everyone. Whether it be an old favourite, or a newly discovered interest, I suggest getting down to Wollongong and having a good time.
