Wok's Breath delivers great meals
Melbourne has a wide variety of Asian restaurants and cafes. This is is a result of a rich, cultural mix within Melbourne's CBD and suburbs as well as diners' love of great Asian cuisine. Wok's Breath is a new hot spot to hit the dining scene. It mainly attracts a lunch crowd in a busy business area, but as it is open until 8 pm most nights and 10 pm on Friday/Saturday, it is will soon have dinner orders rolling in too.

Little Collins Street between William and Queen streets in the heart of Melbourne's city is known for its cute and trendy shops, cafes, restaurants, and much more. Wok's Breath stands out because it brings fresh ingredients and playful flavours to Asian food. Highly recommended orders include the: Black Pepper Beef on Rice (a delectable dish of beef that melts in the mouth and stimulates the senses and is mild enough for those that are not fans of red hot chillies) or try the excellently executed Wok's Breath Fried Rice (a mix of vegetables, shrimp, chicken and egg).

Many places merely list what is included in their dishes, but as can be seen from this menu glimpse below, Wok's Breath has clear pictures of what you can expect when you order up.

Considering the quality of the ingredients and the quick-wok style cooking, the prices are very reasonable with most dishes set between $8-10. The menu has range of noodle and rice meals, but also throws in some salads, soups, and smaller snacks such as Salt & Pepper Soft Shell Crab rice paper rolls.

There are a lot of different Asian take-away shops that offer themselves up as competition to this fairly new cafe, but Wok's Breath may prove itself a contender by grabbing the attention of students and those working in the local area. Word of mouth can be more than spreading its good name around, this shop has puts up the dishes to prove it! On this street those who can't manage enough sales find themselves clearing out, but this is a dining experience that is setting itself up to be a long-term resident.

Travelling to Asia to find great, street-style meals is now made easy with a trip to Wok's Breath. Dine-in or pick up a take-away, these meals are hot off the wok!

Your Comment
I like restaurants that show you pictures of the food. You can make a much more informed decision that way.
