The show consists of three actors, three small white cubes, no backdrop, setting or costume changes. The actors needed little more than lights down and back up again to take the audience to a new place.
The hour-long show moves between different settings quickly but sets each new scene well in a short space of time. The trio parodied everything from TV crime shows and the ridiculous euphemisms for sex in pop songs and even got audiences wondering about the origins of the term "booty call".
Woah, Alyssa! has three more shows at the State Library Theatrette at Fringe Central on February 15,16 and 17. There's plenty of Fringe fun happening in the surrounding Perth Cultural Centre, so it's easy to make a night of it. For more information check out the Fringe World website.
