Halloween means decoration and allowing you to get crafty too. If you're into Halloween, then you're going to really love the chance to make a very scary witch on a broom. You can make her a friendly witch if you really want to, but a scary witch is more fun for Halloween. Spend time with friends and make something for your garden to spook the Trick or treaters! So head to the Witch on a Broom Workshop in Hamilton Hill and have a very spooky Halloween!



It's a weekend of fun and the chance to make something that will last more than one Halloween. It's a spooky weekend with the Witchiest people around. Your little coven of Witch builders will be able to make your very own festive Witch on a broom. Learning how to make a witch will involve sculpting the body and head onto a base. You will be using a fabric hardener to weatherproof your Witch so she lasts multiple years outside. The products you use will give her protection from the weather, no matter what she has to face. There are lots of different techniques to give the Witch a unique flair and character.

And then on Sunday, you get the chance to Jazz her up and put all sorts of colours on her. You get to make the base very spooky and also use colours to make her look either scary or friendly. This is a perfect family workshop, as you will learn all sorts of different techniques and will be able to use it later for other things too. Your teacher will show you how to make your witch perfect and give it the flair Agatha the witch deserves.

If you do want to attend, morning tea will be provided. It's a pricey event, at $245 per person and everything is supplied. The witch stands at 56cm tall, and 73cm wide at the broom. These workshops will start at 9am and will finish at 3pm on Saturday, the 19th of October and 12pm on Sunday, the 20th of October. Make sure to book in early to avoid disappointment. Then head to Hamilton Hill on the weekend to share a fantastically spooky weekend bringing Agatha to life!
