doesn't have the huge playground of some parks, but it is a peaceful oasis in which to have a picnic or to just sit in nature and recharge. The park is easily accessible by bus, the bus stop being on Maibry Street.

The playground itself is simple but adequate and has the advantage of being shaded. The little mushrooms are a quaint touch. Creep up quietly and see if there are any little creatures living under them.

There is an electric barbecue and picnic table in good condition or just sit on a bench in the sun and relax. There is plenty of open space for games or picnic blankets.

The bikeway is wide and in excellent condition and I imagine it would be a very pleasant and easy 5 km walk through the bush over and around Bulimba Creek. The area is a habitat restoration area.

Park Run
This is one of the many parks that participates in Park Run where you can join in a 5 kilometre run and be timed. Register here and turn up with your barcode. Meet at the Greenwood St entrance.

Run by volunteers, the emphasis is on fun. Many of the participants go for a post run coffee afterwards.
