Help boost a township by visiting its silo art

Wirrabara is a small country town located in the Southern Flinders Ranges approximately 250 kilometres north of Adelaide. A pleasant three hours' drive along Horrocks Highway will easily get you to the town. With a population of about 200 people, it has a proud heritage with a renowned forestry industry and rich farming community.

Recently, Wirrabara joined the South Australia silo art trail offering visitors another reason to visit the town. Artist Sam Bates, also known as Smug, has incredibly transformed its towering silo into a piece of art. The artwork features a woodcutter and red-capped robin. It is hoped that this stunning silo art would deliver a boost to the township which had taken a few hits in recent years. For anyone who appreciates good quality art, I'm sure you'll be interested in checking this out for yourself.
