The popular Winterfest celebration returns to St George's Cathedral this Sunday 21st June 2015.

Based on traditional European solstice celebrations and winter markets, this family-friendly event will commence at 5pm with a magical candlelit service held inside the Cathedral.

Outside, the Cathedral's forecourt will come alive with a spectacular fire show and live music from medieval players, The Last Five Coins and award-winning folk duo, China Doll. Plus young children can play in the 'snow' inside an enormous snow dome!

As dusk falls, families can indulge in a hearty winter feast; enjoy authentic, enticing European flavours such as German Bratwurst, Spanish paella, Moroccan Shak Shuka and meatballs, French crepes, Dutch poffetjes, decadent spiced hot chocolate and mulled wine.

Come along this Sunday and enjoy a memorable evening of feasting, fire, fun and festivities that will warm your heart and soul.

This event is ideal for families and food lovers alike - just remember to BYO blanket & scarf!
