This is a list of some top events which relate to craft, wool, yarn and similar activities.

[b]YARN AND CRAFT MARKET[/b]
**When:[/b] 26th May from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm
[b]Where:[/b] Coburg Town Hall, 90 Bell Street, Coburg
This is put on by the
HAND KNITTERS GUILD OF VICTORIA. They welcome you to the annual display of yarny goodness from independent Victorian sellers.
They will provide some light refreshments and there are plenty of great cafes and eateries nearby if you want more.

[b]FIBRE AND WOOL DAY [/b]
When: 1st June from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm
where: St Augustine's Hall, Orr Street, Shepparton
This one is hosted by the
SHEPPARTON HAND WEAVERS AND SPINNERS GUILD.
This will be the third time this day has been held and it will feature fibre, wool, tools, demonstrations and fun! You will be able to meet the farmers, producers, dyers, and crafters.
Bring your WIP or wheel and there will be some delicious food for sale. This promises to be a great day of fibrelicious fun and friends, and entry cost is just $5.

[b]PASCOE VALE SPINNERS [/b]
**When:[/b] 1st and 2nd June from 10.00 am
**[b]Where:[/b] 7 Prospect Street, Pascoe Vale
This show will be produced by the
PASCOE VALE HAND SPINNERS AND WEAVERS GROUP. Their annual exhibition and sale is on again just in time for the cooler weather! They have many beanies, scarves, babies and children's wear for sale.
They also have hand spun skeins for you to create your own knitting or weaving. The members have their work displayed and there will be demonstrations on this form of craft from fleece preparation, spinning, weaving, feltingand dyeing. This year, they have even made a series of handmade toys and these will be donated to the St Kilda Mums charity at the end of the exhibition.

[b]WWM MILL SHOP SALE [/b]
**When:[/b] 6th July from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm
[b]Where:[/b] Wangaratta Woollen Mills., 18 Textile Avenue, Wangaratta,
This sale is hosted by both the
STITCHED UP TEXTILE FESTIVAL and the
WANGARATTA WOOLLEN MILLS.
This year, the Stitched Up Festival celebrates 20 years of textiles, art and crafts. The Mill shop will be open for a fantastic sale during the festival on Saturday 6th July 2019.

[b]ARTISANS TEXTILE FESTIVAL [/b]
when: 19th to 21st July from 2.00 pm
where: North Bendigo Bowls Club, 42-54 Fenton Street, Bendigo
This is hosted by
ARTISANS TEXTILE FESTIVAL. They present fibre related traders showcasing their goods and experience in a friendly atmosphere. There will be a lot of demonstrations and time for a chat about anything fibre related. There will also be homemade food and a comfortable place to sit and chill.

[b]AUSTRALIAN SHEEP AND WOOL SHOW [/b]
[b]When: [/b]19th to 21st July from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm
[b]Where:[/b] Prince of Wales Showgrounds, 42-72 Holmes Road, Bendigo
This show is brought to you by
AUSTRALIAN WOOLCRAFT who are putting on this 3 day show. There will be:
Wool craft competitions
Fashion parades
Wearable art
Vendor stalls
Shearing competitions
Yard dog trials
School competitions
Junior livestock judging
And more
In 2019, the feature breed will be Polwarth, and the competition theme will be 'Season'.

[b]MURRINDINDI BEANIE FESTIVAL [/b]
[b]When:[/b] 27th and 28th from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm
[b]Where:[/b] Alexandra Town Hall, Grant Street, Alexandra
This festival is sponsored by
MURRINDINDI BEANIE FESTIVAL
This will be a fantastic fibre festival open to all. There will be market stalls, fabulous food, and beanies of all shapes and sizes for sale and on display. There will also be fibre artists, wool growers, and more.

[b]MELBOURNE YARN & FIBRE FESTIVAL [/b]
**When:[/b] 8th September from 10.00 am till 3.00 pm
[b]Where:[/b] Corner Bell Street and St Georges Road, Preston
This event is produced by the
YARN & FIBRE FESTIVAL. It will bring some of Australia's best fibre producers and fibre artists to the event for a day of shopping, friendship, and craft activities.
There will be a marketplace where you can fill your shopping bags with the finest yarns and fibres. You could also go to the Crafters Lounge and chill out while you knit and talk to your fellow crafters.
