Toowoomba's Civic Precinct will once again transform into a gorgeous winter wonderland from 21 June until 14 July.
This year's event will feature plenty of free family entertainment including storytelling sessions, slime workshops, guest entertainers, craft, food vendors and the much anticipated ice skating rink.
Skating starts on the hour from 9am daily with the last skate session at 8pm or 9pm depending on the day. The atmosphere at the night sessions is especially charming with lights draped around the rink and adjoining square.

The ice skating rink is fun for all ages
Tickets start at $16 including skate hire, or if part of a group of 10 people or more, tickets are as low as $12. Get in early to avoid disappointment. Tickets can be purchased
here. Children's skating aides are also available for hire.
Last year, the event offered a discounted re-skate if you chose to return on the same day, so keep a clear schedule if you're up for a re-run.
Be prepared on the day by wearing long thick socks to avoid the skates rubbing on your ankles. It is worth dressing in layers too as it doesn't take long to warm up after a few laps.

Children's skating aides are available for hire
If skating is not your thing, an ice slide is also on offer with the choice of a taboggan or tyre as your means of descent for $4 a ride or $10 for 3.
The winter wonderland is a Toowoomba Regional Council event. Further information can be found on the TRC website.
