Although the rink may be small, the weather windy and the trip far, ice-skating at Glenelg was a fun experience that can be enjoyed by any skill level and age group.

However, one must be aware that because the rink is small it can be a bit crowded. Once on the ice though, one gets swept up in the atmosphere and has a blast while they are at it.

Skates come in all reasonable shoe sizes.

There is also skates available for the young ones.

Penguins can be hired for an extra $5 for the less experienced skaters.

At the time of writing this there were plenty of available times, but get in quick because they sell out quickly, and they are only going to be around for a limited time.

Hopefully they are able to come back next year with a bigger rink and we can all skate again.
