Winter is a weekend of fun in Werribee, due to the collaboration between Wyndham City and the Wyndham Business and Tourism Association. They're bringing you a range of free events on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 July 2016 from 4.30pm to 9pm.

Various spots around Watton Street, Werribee is where it's all happening. Watton street itself will be lit up with themed light installations and you are encouraged to walk the strip where you'll find fancy food offerings to sample as you watch street performers. All this you will experience to a soundscape. The bright white umbrella displays along the street will also give you lots of selfie opportunities.

Take advantage of a range of free events filled with acrobatics, youth theatre, movie projects and family films, plus local eateries and shopping to tempt you.

The program of events on the website has a timetable so you don't miss your favourite moment of the weekend.

The ever popular movie Frozen will be screened on Friday 1 July at 6pm at the Wyndham Cultural Centre. Though it's a free family cinema event, you need to book due to limited seating. The same goes for the other two freebie movie events also showing at the Cultural Centre; Inside Out on Saturday 2 July 2016 at 4.30pm and Into The Woods on the same day at 6.45pm.

CLICK HERE to book tickets to all three movie events. The movie is free, but please note that on check out it'll cost you $1.95 per ticket, which is the internet fee. You can also contact the Box Office on 8734 6000.

If that's not exciting enough, roving entertainment group Born in a Taxi and acrobatic group Strange Fruit will also be roaming the streets. Again I remind you to check the timetable so you don't miss them. Their Facebook Page is a good place to check for updates or program changes that may happen due to weather conditions. There's lots more to keep you entertained, including adult story time!
