Celebrate the longest night of the year at the Winter Solstice Festival, taking place at the Northey Street City Farm community garden located on the banks of Breakfast Creek in Windsor.

Held on Saturday, June 22 from 4pm until 10:30pm, this family-friendly event will feature live music, roving performers, children's activities, fabulous food, and two big bonfires.

The festival kicks off at 4pm with an opening ceremony followed by live music, children's art activities and a bonfire for kids at 5:20pm. The entertainment continues into the night with some of Brisbane's best bands performing on two stages. Roving performers include circus acts, fire twirlers, and more. Take part in a kirtan or join the jam circle (don't forget your musical instruments). At 10pm, follow the procession to light the giant bonfire, followed by a drumming and dancing ceremony.

Food and drinks will be available including delicious soup, woodfired pizza and sweet treats from the Chai Café. Entry to the Winter Solstice Festival is free but bring along some gold coins and go into the draw to win great prizes.
