Dance the Winter Solstice Away
One of my favourite days of winter is the Winter Solstice, because it marks the turning of the season. Also known as midwinter, this is the pinnacle marking the shortest day and longest night of the year. This is the moment you know that spring and summer are on their way.

While traditionally a Pagan festival (think Stonehenge), this year you can celebrate this auspicious night in a little less of a Pagan way. Post Dining brings to you, Winter Solstice 1.0 at The Producers Bar- The Old Exchange, 235 Grenfell Street, Adelaide on Friday 23 June 2017 from 6.30 pm to 1 am (24 June).

Winter Solstice 1.0 is an abundant celebration of native and seasonal produce, festive music, mulled wine and contemporary adaptations of winter solstice traditions. The night will begin with a four-course dining experience once the sun goes down. You will be warmed from within, with an intimate and interactive eating experience accompanied by live music composed just for this event by Juno.
Following your dinner, from 9 pm there will be a festive bar, local musicians, face painting, spoken word and a delightful selection of food experiences to explore through to the small hours of the morning.
If you cannot make the dining experience but would like to join in the celebration through the solstice, doors will open from 9 pm. Please check the website in the coming weeks, for these tickets to come on sale.
