Entertaining The Kids
While Summer is the Coast's favourite time of year, July holidays can sometimes seem a bit boring, especially if you are not going away to some exotic, tropical island. These days, kids always appear to be glued to their devices in their free time ... sure, kids can still go bike riding and skating at the park or go to sports camps, but where can you go to find something a little more entertaining? If you are new in town, or stuck for ideas, here's a handy list:

Mooloolaba Coastguard at 100 Parkyn Pde has an OPEN day this Sunday 10-2 with boats to board, helicopter to see, flare demo and a sausage sizzle (donation please) and commissioning their new boat st 12:30. So come along for an interesting time and meet the dedicated volunteers who keep our boaties safe 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.
