Winter doesn't have to spent indoors listening to the chilly howl of the wind when you have music all around Melbourne. There are lunchtime recitals in Docklands, live music performances at Light the Winter in Federation Square and Indigenous songs during NAIDOC Week. The City of Moonee Valley is also hosting their own concert series in June and July. Best of all, entry is FREE to everyone. So grab the family and enjoy a schedule of diverse music across four Sundays across Moonee Valley.
The Moonee Valley Brass, Moonee Valley Community Choir, Moonee Valley Development Band and What's Goin' On will be teaming up for this community concert. All the organisations provide students and members of the local community a platform to enjoy music and perform to audiences at events around Australia and even internationally. In particular, What's Goin' On will explore sounds through improvisation and groove.
