Peninsula lamb lover's feast
Jack Rabbit Vineyard hosts the Winter Harvest – Pasture To Plate experience on Saturday 7th July commencing at 7 PM as part of the Wine Geelong Winter Shiraz Weekend.
Winter Harvest - Pasture To Plate is a celebration of the Bellarine Peninsula's abundance of great produce and fine wine.
Star of the event is the very succulent 'Leura Lamb' foddered and fattened among the vines of the Leura Park Estate vineyards and headlining a sumptuous 5-Course degustation with the option of perfectly matched wines, including some very special, and rare, regional Shiraz.
Cost starts at $177.59 for a table for two and goes up to $872.55 for a table of ten. A Matched Wines option costs $27.33 per person and return bus transport to Geelong costs $22.08 per person. All prices include booking fees and GST.
But you'll need to be quick. Tickets are available online until 23rd June.
The 5-Course degustation will feature succulent 'Leura Lamb' with the option of matching wines.
If you'd rather leave the car at home, organisers have arranged two bus options for the evening.
The first is a return service from Geelong Station or The Edge Geelong departing at approximately 6 PM. Tickets for this service cost $22.08 per person and need to be included in your online booking.
The second is for a shuttle service covering the Bellarine through Fergos VIP Tours. For a quote to meet your requirements, contact Joe on 0417 151 853 or Leonie on 0419 345 147.
