New to Canberra, I love exploring this city and the secrets that it holds with my family.
Celebrate all things winter at the National Portrait Gallery
Celebrate winter at the National Portrait Gallery on Sunday, 6th August, between 10am - 4pm. This popular annual event will include winter-inspired activities for all ages and visitors can watch ice artist Glenn Smith create a "larger than life" ice sculpture. Also there on the day will be the Tjanpi weavers, who will lead a participatory artwork. Whilst there, step inside the gallery to get warm and enjoy the range of portraits of prominent Australians through the decades. Free entry.

See the National Portrait Gallery website for details.
