Enjoy ice skating, movies, free music and more this winter

Looking for some winter school holiday fun for the kids?

The City of Moonee Valley will be hosting their first-ever Winter Fest during June and July 2018, with children's events such as ice skating scheduled to coincide with the July school holidays. The events and activities will take place at various locations around Moonee Valley, and will include a number of free events.

Here's a look at what's on offer:

Ice Skating
One of the festival highlights - the ice skating rink - will be located on the corner of Puckle and Pratt Street, Moonee Ponds. It will be open every day during the festival from 10am, with the last session starting at 7pm.

Each session goes for 45 minutes, and tickets prices are as follows:
$15 for adults and children aged 14
$10 for children (5-13)
$5 for toddlers (aged under 5)
$40 for a family (2 adults, 2 children)

Skaters can also hire penguin skate aids for $5 each, and coin operated lockers will be available. Please also note that children under the age of 5 are required to have an adult skating with them.

Online bookings are recommended as sessions may sell out, and tickets purchased online will also enable guests to receive express entry. Tickets can be purchased here.

Ice Skating - Discounted Youth Sessions
The Ice Skating Rink will also be offering two special youth sessions for 12 to 25-year-olds only. Tickets will be $5 per person, and these sessions will take place on the following dates:
Wednesday, 4 July, 3pm – 5pm
Rainbow Rink: Dress in any colour you'd like
Thursday, 5 July, 6pm – 8pm
Neon Night: Dress in white and fluoro

Please note that a proof of age/student card is required on entry.
