The Winter Festival is a yearly event designed as a celebration of the winter season. Starting in June the Winter Festival will transform the iconic St Kilda sea baths into a winter wonderland with a fantastic opportunity to ice skate, engage in performances from local and international musicians, enjoy mulled wine and take part in VIP functions featuring well known celebrities and local personalities.
The event is sponsored by Lipton Chai Latte who will be supplying guests of the Winter Festival with delightfully warm cups of prepared Lipton Chai Latte to warm cold hands and bodies after a spin on the ice rink.
The Winter Festival is offering event packages with a variety of options to choose from. Cocktail Party Package one is $36.50 per person and provides 6 canapé bites per person, including options like hot semi dried tomato and parsley arancini, smoked paprika and lemon chicken brochettes with citron mayonnaise and cold options that comprise of cucumber cups with saucisson and crab in black pepper crème fraiche.
Cocktail Party Package two is $39.50 per person with 8 bits per person. Hot options include spinach, feta and sweet potato gremolata filo parcels and mushroom and pancetta tartlet. While cold options include forest mushroom and mascarpone tartlets topped with crispy onions and bocconcini marinated in salsa verde and wrapped in Serrano ham.
Cocktail Party Package three is $44.50 per person and provides 12 bits per person. Items on the hot menu include mini brioche croque Monsieur and roasted pumpkin and spinach calzone. Cold items comprise peking duck pancakes with hoi sin sauce and Sydney rock oysters served naturally with lemon and lime wedges.
Cocktail Party Package four is $52.50 per person and provides 15 bits per person. Hot menu items consist of Baked salmon on potato fondant boulangere with minted pea puree and barbary duck breast brochettes marinated in Cassis with blackberry and sage chutney. Cold menu items comprise of pork knuckle rillettes with horseradish crème fraiche in silver spoons and Forest mushroom and mascarpone tartlets topped with crispy onions.

Children's Package one is $20 per person and comprises of crisps/ chips, cocktail frankfurts with tomato sauce, mini pizzettas, and fairy bread with the following beverages: water, orange juice and apple juice.
Children's Package two is $26 dollars and consists of chips/crisps, mini pizzetta, mini hot dogs served with tomato sauce, crumbed chicken tenderloins and fairy bread with the following beverages: water, orange juice and apple juice, and a lolly bag provided to each child.
The Melbourne Winter Festival event will be running from June 29th to July 15th from 10am to 10pm each day.
Entry to the event is free to watch. If you would like to participate and use the ice skating rink the cost is currently reduced to $23 for adult weekday ticket including skate hire (or $17 without skate hire). Kid's weekday tickets are $17 including skate hire (or $12 without skate hire). Under 6 years old tickets including skate hire currently cost $9.
Weekend tickets currently cost $26 for adults including skate hire ($20 without skate hire), $20 for kids including skate hire ($15 without skate hire), under 6 years old $10 including skate hire.
