Winterworld Fremantle is back!

Here, they will celebrate everything that is "winter" orientated. It will be held in the heart of Fremantle from 23rd June to 15th July, 2018.

School holiday fun

This is a miraculous place where families and friends rug up and enjoy the magic of our favourite season - winter!

Bring your friends and family!

Winterworld Fremantle is this July school holiday's most amazing experience. There will have a huge range of activities for the young, as well as the not so young. Here you will be able to experience the true magic of gliding around Australia's largest open-air ice skating rink with falling "snow".

The ever-popular real snow pit is returning to Winterworld Fremantle thanks to White Snow. Here children and adults can play in the snow and build a snowman!

Children will love playing in the snow

This snow pit will join the mountainous inflatable pop-up slide, the falling snow over the rink, and all this will be such a great experience for all!

NEW THIS YEAR
This year, there will also be WINTER MARKETS. You will be able to sit and relax inside The National Hotel's warm cosy Cabin Bar. While watching skaters on the rink (or your children), you can sip on mulled wine and warm winter beverages!

You can wander through this NEW Market Square with local producers and retailers showcasing their winter wares.

You can also get food from the food stalls who will be serving heart-warming delicacies. Why not roast marshmallows around the smouldering fire pits! These will be dotted around a themed outdoor area, where there will also be music.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
The rink is accessible to everyone including wheelchairs and there will be "wheely friendly" sessions throughout the season. There are special skates and "penguins" for small children. These will help them to skate, offering a bit more stability.

There will also be plenty of late night skate sessions for a fun night out.

MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR VISIT
Winterworld Fremantle is presented by Fremantle Business Improvement District (BID) and supported by the City of Fremantle.

Local businesses in Fremantle will be getting in the winter spirit. Some of them will have themed activities and surprises throughout the streets.

SESSION TIMES
Sunday to Thursday: 8.30 am to 8.30 pm

Friday and Saturday: 8.30 am to 9.30 pm

Night time skating is also great fun

Each skating session is in one-hour blocks. These are from when you get your skates on and get on the ice, you're then skating for approximately 45 minutes.

Children under 5 must be accompanied on the ice at all times, by a 16 plus adult and both must have a valid ticket.

Parents and guardians of children (5 years and over) who are skating who DO NOT want to skate, may still enter the skate hire area in order to help their children with their skates.

Also available for youngsters, and those with questionable balance, are double runner skates. The Double Runners simply strap over the top of your enclosed shoe to keep your child on their feet for a bit longer! There are not a lot of these available, so you will probably need to arrive early if you need these.
