Many winter activities including real snow
Now that winter weather seems to have really hit us, it is time to tell you about Winterworld in Fremantle. This celebrates the true magic of winter right in the middle of Fremantle with ice skating, real snow pit, slides, markets, fire pits, silent discos, unicorns and heaps more!
Winterworld Fremantle is back again. They will once again be celebrating everything we love about winter and more. This will be held from 29th June to 21st July 2019 so you will be able to visit several times! It will be a wondrous place where families and friends dress very warm and come together to revel in the magic of our favourite season!
The venue will again be Winterworld Australia, Esplanade Park, Fremantle. Ticket prices will vary and you can find out more and book your tickets at this website.
Winterworld Fremantle will be the most unique place your children can go in the school holidays. It is a festival with a wide range of activities for the young and young at heart. Each skating session is in a one-hour block. You will get 15 minutes to get your skates ready and 45 minutes on the ice.
There is something new each year and this year is no exception. This year it will be unicorns!
The rink is accessible for all, including wheelchairs and wheely friendly sessions throughout the season. There are special skates and penguins for younger children. This will help them to skate with a bit more stability.
There will also be many late night skate sessions for that perfect first date or a fun night out with your loved ones.
The session times are as follows:
Sunday to Thursday
8.30 am to 9.00 pm The last session will be at 7.30 pm
Friday and Saturday
8.30 am to 10.00 pm The last session will be at 8.30 pm
