Winter is around the corner and the best way to warm up is with the list below of both free and ticketed events throughout the winter season.

There is something for everyone with the list below:

1. Canberra Truffle Hunts
When: 5 June 2016- 28 August 2016
Where: The Truffle Farm, Mount Majura Rd, Majura
Cost: Truffle Hunts: $65pp, Saturday Truffle Hunts 3 course breakfast: $125pp & Truffle Hunts with 6 course degustation: $180pp
Details: This delicious winter event will include all things delightful as you follow the truffle dogs as they sniff out prized black Perigord truffles. You can chose from Truffle Hunts, Breakfast Hunts with 3 indulgent truffle courses and sparking wine or Lunch Hunts with 6 course truffle degustation with matching local wines. 2. Handmade Market
When: 11 & 12 June 2016: 10am-4pm
Where: Exhibition Park, cnr Northbourne Ave & Flemington Rd, Mitchell
Cost: Free

3. Old Bus Depot Markets: Kids in the Shed
When: 12 June 2016: 10am-4pm
Where: 21 Wentworth Ave, Kingston
Cost: Free
Details: Find your inner child with this family-friendly fun event. The event will include a lively atmosphere, entertainment, face painting, delicious food, activities, market stalls selling funky, modern and wearable clothing handmade items, accessories, toys, art and more. 4. Winter Glass Market
When: 18 June 2016: 10am-10pm
Where: Canberra Glassworks, 11 Wentworth Ave, Kingston

5. Winter Festival
When: 23 June 2016- 17 July 2016
Where: City Centre, Garema Place, Canberra

6. World Curry Festival

8. Fireside Festival

Details: This winter escape to a gastronomical journey with this tasty event.
